Matuweskewin means “porcupine hunter” in the Wolastoqey language, latuwewakon.

Step into the Matuweskewin boutique and immerse yourself in the world of Wolastoqey and First Nations artists and artisans.

Browse a curated selection of authentic creations: dreamcatchers, clothing, traditional and contemporary jewelry, moccasins, sculptures… and much more.

You’ll also find books for all ages, traditional culinary products, plush toys, and unique items that extend the experience.

The Matuweskewin boutique is located at 1001 rue du Patrimoine in Cacouna, at the junction of Avenue du Port.

On site, our team warmly welcomes you to discover the artists, learn about Wolastoqey culture, and explore the tourism experiences offered throughout the summer season.

The boutique is more than a place to discover unique items — it is also the official welcome point for the Putep ’t-awt observation site.
Our team is on site to guide you and help you explore the region’s experiences and attractions.

Electric shuttle
The boutique is the departure point for the Putep ’t-awt shuttle, offering a convenient way to reduce your walking time to the observation site.
Reservations are required — limited capacity.
