To know

Prices are the same for visitors of all ages, even infants and toddlers occupying a seat. Prices vary as a function of the package selected. Children are not permitted to sit on their parents’ laps. Rather, they must occupy their own seat or a car seat appropriate for their weight and must comply with seat belt standards and obligations.

All children aged 2 and under who cannot sit up unaided must be placed in a car seat adapted to their size. Babies and toddlers are not allowed to be carried in your arms or on your lap. Please bring your child’s car seat. Car seats can be left in a designated area until the return trip with the shuttle. No car seats will be provided.

Dogs are not allowed inside the shuttle, with the exception of assistance dogs. However, dogs are allowed on the trails and must be kept on a leash. Leave your car at the Gros Cacouna marsh ornithological site (Kiskotuk coastal park sector) and walk to the foot of the mountain to access the Putep ‘t-awt trail. It is the owner’s responsibility to pick up after his or her dog and dispose of the bag in a garbage can.

Unfortunately, the site is not accessible for individuals in wheelchairs. The natural lay of the land combined with the current facilities mean that access is difficult. The electric shuttle is not designed to accommodate wheelchairs, and to reach the site visitors must walk approximately 2 km along a dirt and rock trail.

Although the trail to the observatory is composed of compact stone dust, it is rather steep. Additionally, there are several steps to climb to enter the observatory and access its roof deck. We are aware that this reality may be cause for disappointment. Thank you for your understanding.

Shuttle tickets may be purchased through the online ticket service or at the gift shop, and should be booked at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Tickets cannot be purchased from the driver. You will be requested to show proof of reservation before boarding the shuttle in both directions.

If the shuttle has to be cancelled for technical reasons or in the event of a violent storm, you will be informed and reimbursed. Thank you for your understanding!

It is not possible to refund or modify a ticket, unless the shuttle is cancelled. In this case, you will have the option of changing the date of your reservation or receiving a refund.

The shuttle is a non-smoking environment. The consumption of alcohol, cannabis or any other drugs in the shuttle is strictly forbidden. Passengers must wear their seat belts at all times. Do not forget that tickets are reserved and paid for online. Tickets cannot be purchased from the driver. The shuttle should be booked as a function of the package you selected: Activity and “Putep ‘t-awt duo” shuttle or “Shuttle only.” In both directions, proof of reservation will be requested at the time of boarding.
